VACANCY -   CLEANER

                                                                                             Fixed term contract from September 2026 until July 2027

                                                                                                            Salary: Grade 1 SCP 2 (£24,413.00 pro rata)

                Hours:  15 hours per week over five days Monday to Friday (15.00pm – 18.00pm). Term time only plus 5 weeks during school holidays for deep                            cleans.

The Governors of Oakwood Avenue Primary School are looking to recruit an additional cleaner to join our existing team. Successful candidates must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and be flexible to meet the operational needs of our school.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for cleaning to a high standard
• Takes pride in their work
• Is reliable and trustworthy
• Hardworking with attention to detail
• Flexible around working hours and the changing needs of the school
• Able to manage their time and workload well to meet cleaning schedules
• A self-starter but can also work as part of a team
