Hours: 10 hours per week over five days Monday to Friday (16.00pm – 18.00pm). Term time only plus 6 weeks during school holidays for deep cleans.

The Governors of Oakwood Avenue Primary School are looking to recruit additional cleaning staff to join our existing team. Successful candidates must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and be flexible to meet the operational needs of our school.

The Governors of Oakwood Avenue Primary School wish to appoint a committed, proactive, highly motivated and responsible person to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the site including site security, maintenance, completion of relevant paperwork and maintaining outside areas.
Hours per week: 37 hours per week, all year round, permanent. School holiday hours are more flexible and can be arranged in discussion with the Headteacher.
Start date: As soon as possible, subject to enhanced DBS clearance
Salary: WBC Grade 5, SCP 8-14, (£28,624 - £29,540) pro-rata
Governors seek an individual who can:
- work as part of a team
- communicate effectively with children, staff, governors, parents and contractors
- demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures.
- Manage their time effectively, ensuring key tasks and priorities are carried out as required and to a compliant standard.
- Ensure the school and its grounds are always safe and secure for our children and staff.
