  • Autumn Structures linked to settlements.
  • Spring Textiles.making cushions inspired by William Morris.
  • Summer Art focus this term (Pupil Voice happens in this term, biannually)
  • Digital world This is covered during computing in spring term, link to designing and making a game thorugh Scratch.

Year 5

Year 5 follow the Kapow Scheme of work, unit titles:

  • Autumn Structures, building a bridge.(Structures)
  • Spring Moving & pop up books.(Mechanisms)
  • Summer  Food: Caribbean cuisine.(Cooking & Nutrition)
  • Digital World - day at Trust high school using 3D CAD systems
